How to Remove Date and Author on Blogger Posts

Just a quick one here. I get asked this a lot - "How can I get rid of the date on my Blogger posts?" and equally "How can I remove my name from Blogger posts".

Both of these tasks can be done at the same time and is simple to do.

Login to Layout and Page Elements.

The Blog Posts Edit button will bring up the following screen. Just select the items you wish to show on your posts by checking the boxes.

I turned off several items and now the post looks like this...

And that is all there is too it.

Cheers

Griz

  2. Great, but what if I just want to remove the time and date from individual blog posts, such as "menu" items?

  5. Thanks... however, this doesn't remove eg the author name from the rss feed. Do you know of any way to prevent the feed to show who the article was written by?

  6. Is there any way to remove the date from specific posts only? I only want to remove the date from my mock static pages that are linked to in my navigation bar.

  7. Summer: I don't think so since the template is the same for all posts. I think what we did was dating these pages way earlier than the blog started and add a note that the date isn't meaningful.
